David was born and raised in Central Michigan with two brothers. He proudly served eight-years in the United States Air Force following his high school graduation where he became a Distinguished Graduate of the United States Air Force's Airman Leadership School.
David worked his way through college at Federal-Mogul Corporation graduating Magna Cum Laude from Park University with a B.S. in Human Resources Management, a B.S. in Marketing, and an A.S. in Management. Prior to becoming a second-generation Financial Advisor at Baird, he managed caseloads for the State of Michigan's Unemployment Insurance Agency and Department of Human Services.
David is a Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®). He holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations. David completed The Wharton School of Business’ Wealth Planning Essentials Program. He is licensed for life, accident, and health insurance. David occasionally provides market commentary on WSGW radio’s Ticker Tip and Money in Your Pocket segments.
David volunteers with several non-profits including Eversight, Great Lakes Bay Area Sports Lions Club, Jackson Host Lions Club, Linwood-Bay Sportsman's Club, and Saginaw Field and Stream. He is a 2018 graduate of the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Saginaw County program.
David and his wife Anna have six children. Their children are very active, which occupies most of their free time. When he is not busy with his family, David enjoys shooting guns competitively and hunting.
